I am about 50 pages into it and really struggling. I just am not loving the style of writing, which is first person and somewhat scattered. The characters have not gripped me yet and I am not wanting to spend my time reading it. But and this is a big BUT I am willing to keep trying. As much as I may be struggling with it, I am going to continue reading it in hopes of it getting better. I suggest to every one of you who are struggling with a book to do the same. Who knows it may end up being one of your favorite books ever.

I really enjoy how you are still reading this book even though it may not be the best book ever. This may not be one I will read, since it doesn't seem to bring you into the time of September 11th at the 50th page. I can connect to your problem from a book I read this year, Baseball In April. It had mini stories that didn't really interest me but as you did I kept reading. Some stories I liked others not so much. There are many books out there,and your first choice might not always be the right one for you. I enjoyed your blogs and I am wondering if maybe you will like the book? If it's one you are still not into at the last chapter and if you sill don't like it, will you never read from the author again?
